Home for us is the beautifully rugged West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand.
Do you travel for weddings?
Our passports are valid, and we constantly seek adventure so it's safe to say our excitement levels are through the roof right now with the possibilities that are around the corner. Planning a little something not so traditional? Sounds like a treat! Getting hitched tucked away in a forest some place? In the desert? Or in the big smoke of a city in who knows where? We'd love to hear from you, so yes...we travel!
How much do you charge for weddings?
Please contact us via our contact page and we will happily send you through our pricing options.
Do you photoshop our images?
No we don’t. We don't airbrush or alter your natural look, that's not our gig. However, we do professionally edit your images one by one and put a lot of time into this process.
Who will be photographing my wedding?
Peggy is the lead photographer who will always bring along a 2nd shooter. So two photographers will always attend unless previously discussed.
Do you photograph engagements sessions?
Yes we love to! It’s also a perfect time to get to know and feel comfortable with us before your wedding day.
How would you describe your style?
Our style is relaxed, a little quirky and most importantly we want you to be at home with us and to have fun. Our aim is to capture your big day without imposing on the magic. We're not massive fans of those 'posed' photographs, but sometimes we will help guide you into positions and locations with the best light.
How many photographs do we receive from our wedding day?
We usually deliver anywhere from 600 through to 900 images depending on which collection is booked. We won’t hold any back (if we feel they're worthy) so if we have more photos than your package states we will happily edit these for you!
How long will I have to wait for to see my photographs?
During peak season we will have your images back to you within 6-8 weeks.
Can we meet you?
Yes please! We're always up for a good chat so please do get in touch so we can arrange a date to meet. We can also set up a Skype chat if you're overseas.
How many weddings do you shoot in a year?
We do limit the number of weddings we shoot, so please don’t be offended if we aren’t able to photograph yours.
Do you shoot same sex couples?
We can’t believe you just asked that! Yes of course we do, love is universal and we just feel so privileged to document two people in love.
Do you have insurance and backup gear for emergencies?
Yes we have both insurance for our equipment and liability insurance incase (touch wood) something terrible was to happen whilst shooting your wedding. We also travel with spare cameras and lenses as well as plenty of handy little extras for those unplanned moments that may arise.
Do we need to feed you?
Yes please. We will always cover our lunch, but with spending so much of your day and evening rushing around making sure we get the shot we often aren’t able to sneak away so we would love to have some dinner set aside for us please.
How do we book you?
Simple. Once you have confirmed you would like us to document your big day all we require is a 30% booking/deposit fee to secure your date, along with signing our online contract. Easy peasy!
